You own the plants; a weekly maintenance visit keeps them alive — watering, pruning, fertilizing, pest control, with dead plants replaced free under the agreement. Cheapest over 3+ years if you’re staying in your premises.
What actually drives your quote
- Plant count and sizes — the biggest factor; larger statement plants cost more to supply and care for
- Species selection — hardy varieties suited to Dubai offices (snake plants, ZZ plants, dracaena) cost less over time because they don’t need replacing
- Location and access — DIFC tower with loading-dock booking vs. street-level office
- Visit frequency — weekly is standard for offices; some low-plant-count spaces manage bi-weekly
- Pots and styling — commercial-grade planters in custom finishes add to setup cost
How to compare quotes fairly
Ask every supplier the same four questions: Is replacement of declining plants included free? Is the same team visiting weekly or ad-hoc contractors? Are pots included or extra? Is there a minimum contract term? The cheapest per-plant rate with paid replacements usually ends up the most expensive option in year one.
